Meet the Creator

I’m Ebony, an artist, illustrator, and the creator of The Gentle Letters.

I’ve always believed that words and art are powerful instruments of influence capable of shaping our lives and the way we perceive ourselves. While they can be used to divide and persuade, they also have the power to connect and steady us. Just like the natural world.

This is my hope for what The Gentle Letters can do for you.

As someone who is drawn to sincere, meaningful connection over surface-level exchange & the wisdom our vast Earth holds, I desired to create an offering for those seeking the same. A space to connect back to the land we inhabit, reflect, and be met with grace for all that we are and are becoming.

The Gentle Letters grew from this. A quiet longing for something slower and authentic.

It is a way for me to share my art with others, and a way to return to myself, my creativity, and nature by gently reminding me to slow down, to notice, and to honor the small, meaningful moments that so often go unseen.

It is through the relationship I have with the natural world that I’m able to connect with the stories and beauty within and around me. Perhaps these letters can offer the same to you.
